Combined Recruitment for the posts of Programme Executive and Transmission Executives at Prasar Bharati (PB) through SSC.

Name and classification of the Posts:• Programme Executive Group-‘B’ - 360 posts
• Transmission Executive Group ‘B’ – 806 posts

Eligibility:
Programme Executive:

A: (i) M.A. or M.Sc degree from a recognized University
(ii) A record of literary or dramatic or debating activities or publications or popular science.
(iii) Proficiency in the language relevant to the vacancy.
OR

B: (i) Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University; and
(ii) Diploma of at least two years duration in Dramatic arts or Direction or Cinematography or Sound recording and Sound

Design or Editing or Acting or art Direction and production design from:
(a) National School of Drama, New Delhi or
(b) Film and Television Institute of India, Pune or
(c) Any other recognized University or Institute engaged in the field of Drama or Film or T.V.
OR

Diploma in music of at least two years duration from a recognized University/Institute;
OR

A minimum of “B” High Grading by All India Radio for broadcasting as vocalist or instrumentalist;
OR

A Diploma of at least two years duration in Journalism from a recognized University/Institute;
OR

Research publication on folk or tribal music; or proficiency in composing light music with evidence of such music having been accepted by film or broadcasting organization or music recording company.
(iii) Proficiency in the language relevant to the vacancy.

Transmission Executive (General & Production):
(a) Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university;
(b) Proficiency in the language relevant to the vacancy. 
Transmission Executive (Production Assistant):
Essential:
(a) Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university;
(b) Proficiency in the language relevant to the vacancy.

Desirable:
1. Degree/Diploma in direction in TV/Film/Stage from a recognized University/Institute
2. Knowledge of Culture and Literature of the area concerned.
3. Experience of handling, storing and maintenance of properties and wardrobe in Stage/film/T.V.
4. Proficiency in the use of computers and social media.

SSC (SOUTEHRN REGION) CHENNAI RECRUITMENT

Applications are invited for the following (Group `B' and Group C) posts in various Offices:

1. Library & Information Assistant (German): 01post
Qualification: 
1.(i) A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University; and (ii) A degree in Library Science from a recognized University. 2. Proficiency in German language at Matriculation or equivalent level from a recognized Board

2. Investigator Grade-II: 01post

SSC Notified 279 Various Vacancies with Cabinet Secretariat


Staff Selection Commission (SSC) issued notification for recruitment to 279 various posts – 229 Group B Non-Gazetted and 50 Group C Non-Gazetted posts with the Cabinet Secretariat, Government of India. Interested candidates can apply online thrugh SSC’s website till 17 April 2013.

NOTE: The upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST candidates by 5 years and OBC candidates by 3 years.
Candidate should possess the prescribed educational qualification and age as on 1 January 2013.
Women candidates may note that post with code B & C involves postings at arduous locations in field with all India transfer liability.
Selection Procedure: Selection will be done through a 3 tier process.
Tier 1 examination will be qualifying examination. In case of tie between 2 or more candidates, the merit list will be prepared on the basis of date of birth i.e. older candidate will be placed above the younger one. Candidates qualifying in tier 1 will be called for tier 2 and those qualifying in tier 2 will be called for tier 3 i.e. interview. The medium of examination will be English.
Scheme of Examination: The Examination will be conducted at various centers as per the schedule indicated below:
For the posts of RO (ECO), DFO (T) and DFO (GD) : Prelims, Mains and Interview. (Three Tier)
(Common Preliminary Test for all the three posts)
For the posts of PA and Stenographer : Prelims, Skill Test & Interview. (Three Tier)
(Common Preliminary Test for both the posts)

Application Fee: Non-refundable application fee of Rs.100 has to be paid through State Bank of India challan or online account with SBI Challan form that will be generated online.
Female, SC / ST candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

The candidates are advised to go through the requirements of educational qualification, age, etc. and satisfy their eligiblility, before applying. Candidature will be cancelled if any information or claim is not found substantiated when the scrutiny of documents is undertaken after TierII of the Examination and the Department’s decision, in this regard, will be final.
